Write for us

We welcome pitches that help readers notice how household objects, colours, materials and rooms work together. A strong contribution offers a distinct idea, explains it plainly and makes room for different homes, budgets and existing belongings.

Ideas we welcome

Pitch an explanation, comparison, thoughtful critique or focused occasion-based piece about matching in home life. We are especially interested in fresh angles on reuse, proportion, colour, material and how household choices meet everyday use. Keep the scope narrow enough to develop one clear central idea.

What to include

Describe the proposed subject, the main point readers will take away and why the piece belongs with Select Match Report. Mention the likely format and any references or visual material you expect to use. Do not send confidential information, unsupported claims or copy written to promote a product.

How to send a pitch

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. A pitch is a proposal, not an assignment or a guarantee of publication. Please do not send a complete article unless it has been requested.
